We are currently seeing patients at Eye Care for Animals, 1021 East 3300 South, in Salt Lake City. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Open for Emergencies 24 Hours a Day.
Beginning in October, Veterinary Specialty Center of Utah (VSCU) will be open for regular appointments at our new location in Salt Lake City, 1021 East 3300 South. Appointments will be available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and some Saturdays. Because animals don't always live according to our human clocks, emergencies are addressed at the time of need.
Initial appointments generally last 40 to 60 minutes, allowing our specialists to review records, examine the pet and discuss treatment plans. We ask new patients to please arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out new patient forms. You can save time by downloading ECFA paperwork here.
For your initial visit, it is important that you bring your pet, prior medical records, lab reports and x-rays. Your primary-care veterinarian will provide these at your request. As your pet may require special diagnostic tests or anesthesia, please do not feed your pet for 12 hours prior to your initial appointment, (except for animals with diabetes, very young animals or if directed otherwise). You may give your pet water and continue its normal medication schedule. If you have any other questions or concerns about your visit, please do not hesitate to call our office at 801-942-3937 or 800-738-3937.
